These Terms of Sale govern every purchase made through drethan.ai. By placing an order you accept these terms. Please read them alongside our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by Wen Hsien Ethan Huang, a sole trader registered at 14F., No. 143, Sec. 5, Minsheng E. Rd., Songshan Dist., Taipei City, Taiwan (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can reach us at [email protected].
2. Our reseller and Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. This means Paddle sells the product to you, issues your invoice, collects payment, and handles applicable sales tax and VAT. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns.
Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms, which are presented at checkout. Where Paddle’s terms and these terms differ on payment, invoicing or tax, Paddle’s terms govern that subject.
3. What we sell
- Live-online courses — AI-Assisted Thread Lift I, AI-Assisted Thread Lift II, and The AI-Powered Aesthetic Practice, each delivered as a half-day live session with a downloadable prompt library and template set.
- The Clinical Copilot Intensive — a 2.5-day hybrid programme with a capped cohort, admitted by application.
- Laboratory instruments — the Polymer Resin Vector Simulation Component and the Founders’ Vault precision tactile calibrator, shipped as physical goods.
4. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when Paddle confirms your payment and we confirm your place or dispatch your item. We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund — where a product is unavailable, where a cohort is full, where a listing contained a pricing or description error, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or a breach of these terms.
Places on The Clinical Copilot Intensive are allocated only after an application is accepted. Payment of the deposit does not by itself secure a place until we confirm acceptance in writing.
5. Prices, taxes and currency
Prices are shown on the relevant product page and are payable in the currency stated at checkout. Paddle calculates and collects any sales tax, VAT or GST due in your location, and this is shown before you pay. We may change prices at any time; the price that applies to your order is the one displayed when you place it.
For physical goods, shipping costs are shown at checkout. Any import duties, customs charges or local taxes on delivery are the buyer’s responsibility.
6. Delivery and access
- Courses. After payment you receive joining details by email at the address given at checkout. It is your responsibility to supply a working address and to check spam filters.
- Digital materials. The prompt library and template set are made available for download at or before the session. Access is granted immediately on purchase where the product page says so.
- Physical goods. Dispatch times are stated on the product page. Risk passes to you on delivery. We are not liable for carrier delays outside our control.
7. Who our training is for
Our clinical training is intended for licensed medical, dental or nursing professionals and others legally entitled to perform aesthetic procedures in their own jurisdiction. By enrolling you confirm that you hold the qualifications and licences you have stated, and that you are responsible for confirming what you are permitted to practise where you work. We may ask for evidence of professional status and may decline or withdraw enrolment where it is not provided.
8. Educational purpose — no clinical or commercial guarantee
Our courses, materials and instruments are educational. They are not medical advice, not a treatment protocol for any individual patient, and not a substitute for your own clinical judgement, your regulator’s requirements, or a manufacturer’s instructions for any product or device you use.
You remain solely responsible for every clinical decision you make and for the care of your own patients. Completing a course does not confer certification, accreditation, licensure, or any entitlement to perform a procedure. We give no guarantee of any clinical result, patient outcome, examination result, or commercial or financial outcome for your practice.
9. Instruments — intended use
The Polymer Resin Vector Simulation Component and the Founders’ Vault calibrator are training and simulation instruments. They are not medical devices, are not sterile, and are not intended for use on human or animal patients or for any diagnostic or therapeutic purpose. Use them only as described in the documentation supplied.
10. Third-party AI tools
Our materials reference third-party AI platforms and software. You are responsible for obtaining your own accounts and licences for those tools and for complying with their terms, including any restriction on entering patient or personal data. We do not control their availability, pricing, features or output, and we are not responsible for changes they make.
You are responsible for handling patient information lawfully under the privacy and medical-records rules that apply to you.
11. Intellectual property and your licence
All course content, recordings, slides, prompt libraries, templates, documentation and instrument designs remain our property or that of our licensors. On payment we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials in your own professional practice.
You may not:
- resell, sublicense, share or redistribute the materials, in whole or in part;
- share your access credentials, or admit anyone else to a session in your place;
- record, screen-capture or livestream a session without our written consent;
- use the materials to build, train or fine-tune a competing course, product or model;
- remove or alter any attribution, serial number or certificate.
Breach of this section entitles us to withdraw access without refund and to pursue any other remedy available to us.
12. Conduct during sessions
We expect professional conduct in all live sessions and group channels. We may remove a participant who is abusive, disruptive, or who breaches the confidentiality of case material discussed in the session. Removal for cause does not entitle you to a refund.
13. Refunds, cancellations and transfers
Refunds, transfers and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. In short: refund windows differ by product, the Intensive deposit is non-refundable, and limited-release instruments are not returnable for change of mind. Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer law of your jurisdiction.
14. Changes to a course
We may change a session’s date, time, platform, faculty or running order where necessary. Where a change is material and you cannot attend, you may take a transfer or a full refund. We may also substitute equivalent content or faculty of comparable standing.
15. Warranties and liability
We provide our products with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, and to the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or goodwill, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss. We are not liable for any clinical decision you take or any harm arising from your own practice.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Events outside our control
We are not in breach of these terms if performance is prevented or delayed by an event outside our reasonable control, including platform or network failure, illness of faculty, travel restriction, natural disaster, or government action. Where such an event prevents a session entirely, you may take a transfer or a refund.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force when you place your order is the version that applies to that order. The date at the top shows when this page was last revised.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan, and the Taipei District Court has non-exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
Please contact us before escalating a dispute — most issues are resolved quickly by email.
