Description
The permanent baseline for tactile calibration.
Muscle memory built on an instrument that changes is worse than no muscle memory at all. The Founders’ Vault exists to give a clinician one reference object that does not drift — a single calibrator whose geometry and resistance profile remain identical across years of laboratory repetition.
Each calibrator is precision-machined from aluminium and hard-anodised, then finished in Gold or Clear. It carries the internationally patented force-vector cog geometry that underpins the thread mechanics taught in our courses.
Anodising is what makes it a reference rather than a consumable. The anodic layer is substantially harder than the underlying metal and integral to it rather than applied over it, so the barb angles and retention nodes that define the resistance profile survive repeated insertion cycles without the progressive rounding that would slowly teach your hand the wrong feel.
This is a single-unit release. One vault, one calibrator, one substrate. Under 50 sets exist worldwide.
Finish
Choose Gold and Clear at checkout. Both finishes are produced by the same anodising process.
Two authenticity tiers, both fully disclosed
The tier is stated on the listing before purchase. Nothing is concealed until unboxing.
Master Signature — laser-etched
A restricted subset of units meeting the tightest dimensional tolerance at final inspection carry the permanent laser-etched hallmark ThreaFa Tight NHTL-01. The etching records the calibration tier; it does not alter function.
Classic — unetched
Machined and anodised to the same specification, carrying the identical patented force-vector cog geometry and the same resistance profile. Certified official production. An uncompromised working instrument for lifelong tactile retention.
What the vault contains
- 1 × Precision anodised aluminium tactile calibrator — patented force-vector cog geometry, Gold and Clear as one unit finish
- 1 × THE ARCHIVAL CARRYING CASE: ECO-LEATHER TACTILE PROTECTION VAULT True scientific precision deserves elite environmental isolation. Every single Patented Stainless Steel Calibrator is housed inside our custom-engineered, multi-material circular protective vault.Meticulously crafted from a high-performance, hybrid blend of Premium Eco-Leather (Polyurethane Bovine Matrix) and Reinforced Structural Elastomers, this tactile vault bridges the gap between rugged durability and luxury ergonomics.

Frequently asked questions
Why aluminium rather than stainless steel?
Because the instrument is a geometry reference, not a surgical tool. What matters is that the cog profile stays dimensionally identical over years of use, and a hard anodic layer delivers that at a fraction of the mass. There is also a clarity benefit: nobody mistakes an anodised aluminium training aid for an implantable instrument, which is exactly the boundary this product needs to hold.
Does the finish affect performance?
No. Gold and Clear are produced by the same process and are functionally identical.
Will I know which tier I am buying before I pay?
Yes. Master Signature and Classic are listed as separate purchase options. The tier is never a surprise.
Does the etching change how the instrument performs?
No. It records that the unit met the tightest dimensional tolerance at inspection. Both tiers carry the same patented geometry and the same resistance profile.
Can I use this on a patient?
No. Under no circumstances. It is a laboratory simulation instrument with no clinical status of any kind.
Do I need to have taken a course to buy it?
No, but the accompanying laboratory guide assumes the vector framework taught in the courses. Without it, you will have an excellent instrument and no method to apply it to.
