Polymer Resin Vector Simulation Unit

$149.00

A single high-precision simulation unit with two components produced by additive manufacturing in biocompatible polymer resin, reproducing the patented cog-tension geometry to a tolerance of plus or minus 0.01 millimetres. Built for repeat laboratory stress testing on training heads and manikins, where a steel calibrator would be over-specified. In stock and shipping globally. In vitro laboratory use only — not a medical device, not for human application.

Description

The everyday component for laboratory repetition.

Tactile precision is perishable. Spatial orientation and insertion-resistance recognition both begin to degrade without active physical reinforcement, and the interval is measured in weeks rather than months. Maintaining that edge requires a component you are willing to use hard and use often.

That is what this is.

Where the Founders’ Vault calibrator is the permanent anodised reference, the Polymer Resin Vector Simulation Component is the working part — produced at scale, priced for routine laboratory use, and manufactured to a tolerance tight enough that repetition on it means something.

Manufactured to reproduce the geometry, not approximate it

Produced by high-resolution additive manufacturing in an advanced biocompatible polymer resin, every barb angle, tensile curvature and retention node is printed to a tolerance of ±0.01 mm. The component reproduces the same patented cog-tension geometry taught in our courses, so the resistance profile you rehearse against in the laboratory corresponds to the mechanics you are being taught.

Its lower mass relative to steel makes it suited to multi-angle stress testing, group workshop settings and repeat insertion cycles where a forged instrument would be over-specified for the task.

Supplied as a two component, one unit

  • 1x Polymer Resin Vector Simulation Components (Complete Units): Each individual unit is engineered as a high-precision, 2-component tactile assembly. This includes 1x Biocompatible Resin Core Body and 1x Anti-Friction Guidance Shield, printed via advanced additive manufacturing to a strict microscopic tolerance of ±0.01mm for flawless vector training continuity.
  • 1 × THE ARCHIVAL CARRYING CASE: ECO-LEATHER TACTILE PROTECTION VAULT True scientific precision deserves elite environmental isolation. Every single Patented Stainless Steel Calibrator is housed inside our custom-engineered, multi-material circular protective vault.Meticulously crafted from a high-performance, hybrid blend of Premium Eco-Leather (Polyurethane Bovine Matrix) and Reinforced Structural Elastomers, this tactile vault bridges the gap between rugged durability and luxury ergonomics.

For laboratory skill retention and academic modelling, in vitro only.

This component is an educational research supply designed exclusively for resistance testing on laboratory training heads and manikins. It holds no medical clearance, is not a sterile implant, and is strictly prohibited from human application. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any condition.

Laboratory and educational use only. Purchasers are responsible for compliance with the regulations of their own jurisdiction.

Frequently asked questions

How does this differ from the anodised aluminium calibrator?
The calibrator is a permanent reference standard — its hard anodic surface holds the cog geometry indefinitely, so it remains the object you calibrate your hand against. This component is the consumable you rehearse on, replaced as its retention nodes soften. Different jobs. Most laboratories eventually hold both.

How many are included?
One. This listing is a two component/unit.

Is the resin the same material used in implantable devices?
No. It is a biocompatible polymer resin selected for dimensional stability in laboratory simulation. Biocompatible describes the material class; it does not confer implant status, sterility, or any clinical clearance. This component must never enter a human body.

How long does one component last?
That depends entirely on insertion frequency and substrate density, so we will not quote a cycle count we cannot stand behind. Replace when the retention nodes no longer produce a crisp resistance transition — by then the component is teaching you the wrong feel.

Do I need the aluminium calibrator first?
No. Either can be purchased independently.
